Serial production of Lada Iskra is scheduled to begin on April 19

Today, the lineup of the company consists of six families: Vesta, Largus, Granta, Niva Legend, Niva Travel and Aura. Lada Iskra - a new car model, which includes variations from the sedan, station wagon and cross-version. Maxim Sokolov announced the start of mass production of the new model in mid-April, 55 years after the start of production of the first car VAZ-2101. "After 55 years, on April 19, 2025, we will celebrate this day with the start of industrial production of our newest model - Lada Iskra," the press service of AvtoVAZ quotes Sokolov. Also, according to him, in June 2025 will be the world premiere of a new crossover created by Russian engineers on the Russian platform Lada Vesta, and its release will begin in 2026. The design of Lada Iskra was known in the summer of 2024, and photos of the salon appeared only last week. Before that, the internal appearance of the car was familiarized with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who inspected the interior of the new car during a January working trip. Iskra will take place in the model range between Lada Granta and the flagship Lada Vesta.
