Investigators opened a criminal case after poisoning children with Chinese snacks in Krasnoarmeisk near Moscow.
The incident occurred on March 6. One of the pupils of the fifth grade brought to the school a package of soybean meat of an unidentified brand, produced by the PRC, which the day before bought in a grocery store. After consuming the product, six children became ill and were hospitalized with signs of poisoning. Currently, their lives are not in danger. The SC opened a criminal case on the fact of rendering services that do not meet the requirements of safety of life and health, which caused mass poisoning of minors. The remaining batch of snacks was seized and sent for examination. The trade pavilion, which traded dangerous products, was sealed and closed, the ministry said.
