Moscow region investigators opened a criminal case on the fact of mass poisoning of children with food at the school of Krasnoarmeisk.
It was established that in the afternoon of March 6, one of the 5-graders brought to the school a package of soybean meat produced by the PRC, which the day before she purchased in the grocery store. “At recess, the children opened the pack and decided to try the meat, despite the pungent smell of pepper,” the Moscow prosecutor’s office said. As a result, six students became ill and were hospitalized with symptoms of poisoning. Currently, their condition is satisfactory, there is no threat to life, said the regional supervisory authority, which took the investigation of the case under control. The children were taken the necessary tests, the remaining product was seized at school and in the store. His laboratory studies are being conducted. “The trading pavilion is sealed and closed,” the IC’s regional office said. A criminal case was initiated on the fact of rendering services that do not meet the requirements of safety of life and health, which caused mass poisoning of minors.
