The only surviving aqueduct in Russia is an object of cultural heritage of federal importance and an important part of the first Ekaterininsky (Mytischinsky) water pipeline. The object was built in 1779-1785. In 1902, the water pipe was modernized, water flowed to the capital until 1962. After several decades, it served as a support for the heat main. In 2007, it was converted into a pedestrian bridge, the report said. To restore the architectural appearance of the aqueduct, specialists will clean and restore the stairs and facing of the facade, as well as replace it with new wooden elements of the canopy and roof. In addition, the work will affect pavilions, engineering equipment and water wells.
