"Soul in stone." The Primorsky Art Gallery presented an exhibition of the artist-jeweler Denis Bogomazov – the owner of the Order of Karl Faberge. In jasper, amethyst, topaz master opens images of animals. The revived gems were seen by Oksana Danyliuk. A bear hugging a bear was born from a piece of quartz. The stone, admits Denis Bogomazov, can lie in the workshop for years, until suddenly the image appears. You just have to see him. This is the fourth personal exhibition of the master from Yekaterinburg. At the vernissage, he thanked his art historian wife for his inspiration and support. “If it wasn’t for my beloved wife, I would have never participated in many exhibitions, and, of course, there would have been no awards,” said Denis Bogomazov, a jeweler. Denis Bogomazov brought 54 works in the genre of animalistics to Vladivostok. According to the tradition of Ural masters, he works with solid stone, preserving its natural features. So, the Druze of crystals became a hedgehog with a funny face. A lump of jasper turned into "Secrets of the Forest." He immediately comes up with: probably, it will not only be a bear on a tree, but it will be an owl, said Svetlana Rusnak, deputy director for the development of the Primorsky Art Gallery. In fact, in the moss agate of yellow color, the incisor of the master opened a dark gray vein. “And he thinks it's probably going to be a mouse, and he creates a job. Please note: there is nothing glued here. Here we must understand that this is a solid stone! – said Svetlana Rusnak. Aquamarine, tourmaline, jade, topazes and sapphires - the wealth of the Mistress of the Copper Mountain turns into animate images.
