TASS: APU losses exceeded 1 million people killed and wounded

The calculations are based on daily and weekly reports of the Russian Defense Ministry. It is specified that since the beginning of 2025, the AFU lost 80,000 soldiers. In 2022, the Ukrainian army lost 118.5 thousand fighters, in 2023 – 405.4 thousand soldiers. Kiev suffered the greatest losses last year: in 2024, Ukrainian troops lost more than 595,000 people killed and wounded, which is more than their total losses for two years of the SVO. In addition, since the beginning of the Ukrainian conflict, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost an impressive amount of equipment, including foreign ones: 656 aircraft, more than 21.7 thousand tanks and other armored vehicles, 283 helicopters, 596 air defense systems and more than 44.2 thousand drones. First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Colonel-General Sergei Rudskoy said that mobilization in Ukraine is often forced. Kiev is unable to compensate for losses and ensure the formation of strategic reserves.
