Dialogue with the legislator... In Kabardino-Balkar State University, a meeting of the Chairman of the Republican Parliament Tatyana Egorova with university students was held. It was dedicated to International Women’s Day. Meetings of the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic with students have become a good tradition. This time the dialogue was held at KBSU. Before the beginning, Tatiana Egorova showed an exhibition dedicated to the women of Kabardino-Balkaria, who participated in the Great Patriotic War. Medical workers, communications, partisans... All of them, side by side with men, steadfastly fought against fascism, liberated the Motherland from invaders. The theme of the Great Patriotic War became key at the meeting itself. The President of the Parliament shared her family history with the students. Tatiana Egorova’s father also fought with the Nazis. The speaker stressed that such meetings with students help to learn firsthand about the plans and ideas of young people, proposals and initiatives. The young people had many questions. The questions concerned completely different areas of life. How to combine a successful career and family care? What qualities should a member have? What opportunities do young people have for career growth? The meeting of the Speaker of Parliament with students of the state university lasted more than an hour. More than a dozen issues were discussed during the dialogue.
