📝 Summary

Textile factory in the Ivanovo region began to produce working gloves from a unique latex thread by secondary processing, said on the air of the TV channel "Russia 24" head of knitting production group of companies "Leadertex" Evgeny Moklokov.

Previously, the factory bought Chinese and European latex threads, and now began to produce their Russian counterpart, which is not inferior to foreign samples. The creation of gloves is environmentally friendly - threads are created from textile waste. Each of the 370 machines sews off about 200 pairs of gloves per day. All the necessary materials are made here. “We have the production of latex woven filaments and X-filaments, so-called multicomponent filaments. The first is used in the manufacture of finishing the edge of the glove and the second thread - in the wristband, so that the wristband is tightened and fixed on the hand, explains Moklokov. A latex suspension is applied to the gloves. Its main component is latex itself, a natural or synthetic rubber to which various chemicals are added. After applying the suspension to the gloves, the process of coagulation occurs, that is, the formation of a solid layer. Mixing various components, produce a special latex thread. “Latex threads, woven are used in socks, in shoes and where you need to pull some part of the knitted product,” said the head of production. These latex coating lines are developed and manufactured in-house and now have no analogues in Russia.
