Funds from the reserve fund of the Russian government will be provided to the region in the form of an inter-budget transfer. This issue was raised at a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with members of the government on February 18. The Russian head of state instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to allocate the necessary funds for this. Mikhail Mishustin, commenting on the decision made at a government meeting on February 20, instructed the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation to keep under control the organization of work to help the affected residents of the Kursk region.
