In the Kursk region, the Ministry of Internal Affairs opened a criminal case on fraud in the manufacture and supply of concrete pyramids for the construction of fence lines in the border. The damage amounted to more than 156 million rubles, said the official representative of the Ministry Irina Volk in his Telegram channel.

Officials of the Kursk Region Development Corporation and two other companies are suspected of the crime. According to preliminary data, within the framework of the concluded contracts, the companies put pyramids of inadequate quality. In particular, the strength of concrete was two times lower than the stated requirements. This was confirmed by the construction and technical study of samples of structures. The amount of damage is estimated at 156 million rubles. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
