Reports. The submission of the FSIN was considered in the absence of a defendant in the case - in absentia. It is known that in 2021, the founder of the investment fund Baring Vostok Michael Calvey, his assistant Philip Delpal and five other people were sentenced to suspended sentences for embezzlement of 2.5 billion rubles of Bank Vostochny. Calvey received 5.5 years of probation and Delpal received 4.5 years of probation. The deadlines were later reduced by a year. After a while, the FSIN inspectorate filed a petition with the court for Delpal’s failure to fulfill the duties assigned to him by the court. His case was reviewed.
