The Cabinet will support domestic agricultural producers creating nurseries of salmon fish. This was stated during a meeting with Deputy Prime Ministers by the head of the Russian government Mikhail Mishustin. The broadcast was conducted by the TV channel "Russia 24".
Farmers who create or upgrade nurseries for growing salmon and trout will be compensated for 25% of the costs. The reimbursement will cover the costs of premises and equipment, as well as laboratories, pumping stations, boiler houses, engineering networks and software. “Now, entrepreneurs who are willing to invest in salmon aquaculture will be able to receive support. They will be able to count on reimbursement of up to a quarter of the direct costs incurred for the creation and renewal of the respective nurseries, Mishustin said. Earlier, the head of government said that the “Made in Russia” program was expanded and extended until 2030.
