The vote failed in the presence of European Commissioners. Out of the necessary 226 votes, the draft bill received only 218. According to the document, Zelensky must carry out presidential duties until another candidate takes office. Earlier, the head of the Kiev regime stated that the state of war is not the time for holding elections. This was supported by the head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas.
