The court in the Rostov region chose a preventive measure in the form of detention against three young people who are suspected of bullying the homeless.
Video footage of several people using physical violence against a man without a fixed place of residence appeared online in February. The action takes place in Rostov-on-Don. On this fact, a criminal case was initiated and investigated under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on hooliganism. Three suspects were arrested. They were 19-year-old Rostov citizen and two 17-year-old residents of the Rostov region. During the interrogation and verification of testimony on the spot, the defendants admitted their guilt. The progress of the investigation of the case was reported to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin, according to the Telegram channel of the regional headquarters of the IC. According to local media, the suspects tortured homeless people with hot iron, and everything that happened was filmed on camera.
