Advisor to Rostov Governor Goncharov arrested for two months

It is noted that the Leninsky district court of Rostov-on-Don chose Goncharova a measure of restraint in the form of detention for a period of two months. According to the lawyer of the adviser to the governor, Goncharov does not admit his guilt in excess of powers. FSB officers detained Goncharov on Friday, February 21. A criminal case has been opened against him under the article on the abuse of official powers. This case is connected with the case of Deputy Governor of the Rostov region, Minister of Agriculture of the region Konstantin Rachalovskiy. Rachalovsky was detained in mid-February on suspicion of involvement in the illegal allocation of more than 155 million rubles of state support to agricultural enterprises in difficult financial condition. The recipients were declared bankrupt and the money was stolen. According to sources, Goncharov, being the first deputy governor of the Rostov region, ordered the allocation of funds.
