OPECâs reduction in oil prices will âautomatically stop the tragedyâ that is happening in Ukraine. âAs long as oil prices are high, this war will not end so easily,â Trump told reporters after arriving in North Carolina. Trump urged OPEC to âactâ and lower prices. Earlier in his speech at the economic forum in Davos, trump said that he was going to ask Saudi Arabia and OPEC to reduce oil prices, because then âthe war between Russia and Ukraine will immediately end.â On January 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an interview with Pavel Zarubin, author and co-host of the Moscow Kremlin.
