On Kolyma, police officers are investigating a case related to the theft of three million rubles by two women from Ingushetia. The defendants issued benefits for 14 children, illegally receiving money from the regional budget. This was reported in the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The accused, living in their native region, issued a temporary registration, where they indicated the place of residence of the urban-type settlement of Yagodnoye on Kolyma. "After that, the women remotely submitted documents to the local branch of the social fund to receive monthly allowances for the maintenance and upbringing of their children," the ministry said. Each of the defendants had seven minor children. So illegally women received about 1.5 million rubles each. Two criminal cases were opened on the fact of fraud in receiving payments. The investigation is ongoing.
