Tyumen winners of the Taekwondo tournament will go to competitions in South Korea

The winners of the taekwondo tournament for the Cup of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Russia, which recently ended in Tyumen, will go to the competition in South Korea. Athletes are worried about serious international competitions. And there's an explanation. After all, each of them will have the opportunity to visit the country in which Taekwondo was born. Thanks to the initiative and serious support of the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Korea in the Ural Federal District Igor Samkayev, the children will take part in an open international tournament in Seoul, where the best athletes from around the world will gather. Preparations for the competition are already well underway. Young athletes train hard, honing equipment and increasing endurance. The coaching staff develops individual plans for each team member. This trip is not only an opportunity to demonstrate skills and compete for medals, but also a chance to exchange experiences, learn more about the culture and philosophy of taekwondo. The children will be accompanied by representatives of the parent committee. Anna Ivkina is also preparing to participate in the open international taekwondo championship in Seoul this summer. At the recent tournament in Tyumen at the Cup of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Russia, she showed excellent results, became the first in her weight category. To visit where such a sport as taekwondo was born - this, as Matvey Samokhvalov admits, was a pipe dream.
