Rally in honor of the 82nd anniversary of the end of the Battle of Stalingrad was held in Tyumen

The memory of the heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad was honored in Tyumen. A rally took place on Historic Square, the townspeople brought flowers to the Eternal Flame. And a minute of silence honored the memory of the participants of one of the largest battles of the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War. The Battle of Stalingrad lasted 200 days and nights, and ended victoriously on February 2, 1943. Veterans and Tyumen youth came to honor the memory of the heroes of Stalingrad: schoolchildren and pupils of the children's sea center "Scarlet Sail", sports school No. 2, the children's and youth center "Grad", the center of aesthetic education "In the House of Burkov". The event was held as part of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the Year of Heroes in the Tyumen region.
