In the animal shelter of Elena Knapskaya live 270 dogs. And everyone has a story. Kitty was taken to a remote village in the taiga and thrown away. No less touching story and the dog named Shryab. “The owner of the dog Shkryab went to a special military operation, and relatives put the dog in the entrance. But volunteers learned about it, and for a year and a half Shkryab has been living here, in the shelter, says correspondent Timur Saitgalin. On the street are often pedigree dogs. The former owners of the staff named Graf realized that they did not need the dog, and wanted to get rid of him. But the dog got to volunteer Bakhrom Tursunkulov. The young man decided to keep the Count. “He and I have been living together for about a week. The dog is used to it. Very kind and very affectionate, notes the owner of the Staffordshire Terrier Earl Bahrom Tursunkulov. The count, like other of our younger brothers, was brought to the Chelyabinsk station for sterilization. For homeless animals, this procedure is carried out free of charge twice a year. “Castration is the only humane way to regulate the number of stray animals. Accordingly, animals cannot reproduce, do not receive offspring. Therefore, it should not be put in good hands. And the animal lives quietly. His quality of life only increases, - says the chief doctor of OGBU "Chelyabinsk Vetstation" Ivan Poloskov. In addition, animals undergo other necessary procedures for future socialization. “An animal gets quarantined, vaccinated, sterilized. And then we are looking for owners, says Olga Shkoda, chairman of the Chelyabinsk Regional Public Organization for Animal Protection Chance. Animals from shelters can again become true friends to humans. So, Kitty and Shkryab have already passed all the necessary procedures. They are waiting for new owners to come. If this does not happen, the dogs will be on the street again.
