Women in difficult times: how red-brighters help SVO

At the end of March, it will be 2 years, as the project "YOI flash drive" was born. Around the people’s artist of Russia Natalia Goryacheva formed a large team of Krasnoyarsk musicians – they record their programs, compositions on the media. And all this diverges along the front line and in the cities of Russia. The sewing workshop was deployed in the classes of the Sunday school at the Emelnovsk temple. And it all began with the fact that after the service, Father Alexei went to the parishioners and offer everyone to unite and start doing something useful for the front. Dania Gilaeva, doctor of the Krasnoyarsk regional hospital: I admired people simply. To not be angry after so many years of war is to love life so much. It's priceless. When the first team of doctors was formed in Krasnoyarsk to work in the SVO zone, in hospitals in new territories, Dania Gilaeva filed an application one of the first. He completed a special training course on military trauma. But the women doctors were only taken on their last trip. Valeria Ivanyuta, ultrasound doctor of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Hospital: We met with Denmark on the road, we did not know each other within the hospital. We lived in the hospital, there were three of us. We worked 7 days a week. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a lunch break.” I needed a doctor who could watch everything. Valeria just came. There were days when I did almost 60 studies per shift, which is a lot. After 2 months, our girls did not want to let go. Dania Gilaeva, surgeon of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Hospital: The category of patients is coming, the guys who are already, as they say, commissioned, and the nature of their injuries is different. Secondly, the population itself is people who have lived in war for a long time. It all feels really good. The people in uniform and the sounds in the street were a little disturbing.” Olga Yazeva, a volunteer, the mother of the SVO participant, the wife of the rector of the Emelyanovsk temple: Our first collection was 18 thousand. I thought I had bought so much stuff. Now it is ridiculous to recall the costs have increased not just several times – ten times. Volunteers at the Emelianovsk temple and went - sew linen, sweatshirts, blankets - invisible to the thermal imager. Parcels are sent to the front line once a month. Now we need to collect a batch of things for 200 people. At the end of December, the sets for 350 fighters were formed. And it's a thread that leads to the home window, you know? The idea of creating the project "YOY flash drive" suggested just volunteers. As it turned out, being in the firing line in moments of calm, fighters want to listen to something serious, academic. The project participants were the best Krasnoyarsk singers, directors, actors, musicians, readers. They are volunteers – they unite in small groups and go to concerts. Pushkin, people's artist of Russia: "Stand with machine guns, in bulletproof vests. Some are sitting, mostly standing. And watch silently. And you don't know if they like it or not. And slowly, slowly, in 20 minutes, they start to turn on, applaud, smile. When the Victory Day in the Special Military Operation comes, Natalia Goryacheva will also set the table and call friends. Well, the only thing I have already planned for myself is that I will sleep for a week, because chronic sleep deprivation already affects the body. Dania Gilaeva, surgeon of the Krasnoyarsk regional hospital: "The city is very beautiful, but the most valuable thing there are people." Valeria Ivanyuta, ultrasound doctor of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Hospital: Naturally, all these groups of VKontakte remained, we signed up for all the public. I wonder what is going on there.” Artists, volunteers, despite all the difficulties, do not give up their positions. Dania Gilaeva and Valeria Ivanyuta are preparing for another business trip, this time – in the districts of the region – a special medical train will go to where it is difficult for people to get to the hospital. For our doctors, this is the second front, and it is also important to win.
