French President Emmanuel Macron said during his visit to the United States that Washington should support the forces that France and Britain want to send to Ukraine after the conflict is resolved. According to the source of the newspaper, Trump was open to such an idea, so Macron left the American capital, being confident of reaching agreement with Trump. But according to a senior official who briefed the paper, Trump’s plan does not include such compromises. We will remind, on the eve of the President of France Emmanuel Macron during negotiations with his American counterpart said that the European Union (EU) will be able to send its military to Ukraine after the conclusion of a peace agreement between Kiev and Moscow. At the same time, European “peacekeepers” will need the support of the United States, Macron stressed.
