The music festival "Roads of Victory" opened with a concert in Yakutsk. The evening program was compiled on the basis of archival posters of the Great Patriotic War. Military songs, as well as arias of Russian and foreign composers were performed by opera singers – Olga Tolkmit and Roman Arndt – accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the State Philharmonic of the Republic of Sakha – Yakutia. Maestro Fabio Mastrangelo stood for the conductor’s remote – the artistic director of the show. The festival, supported by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, will last until the ninth of May and will be held in four cities of the country. “We decided to dedicate each concert to a specific event. For example, in Yakutsk, we dedicated a concert to a team of skiers from Yakutia, who on February 23, 43 made a great feat, says the artistic director of the festival Fabio Mastrangelo.
