It presents about 300 exhibits - all of them are associated with the female type of clothing of the Yakut people "Tangalai Son".
In the exposition of the Yakutsk State United Museum of History and Culture of the Peoples of the North, you can see preserved fragments of traditional clothing, national decorations discovered as a result of archaeological excavations in various areas of Yakutia, as well as reconstructions of clothes recreated from excavation materials. Ancient people believed that clothing has magical properties, protects the woman who wears it. From the costume you could find out what kind of woman comes from and about her wealth, because the beads were very expensive. As part of the exhibition, which will last until April 7, various master classes and author’s excursions will be held.
