The Medal of Public Recognition “Father of the Soldier” was solemnly presented to the Novemberin Yuri Usakovsky. Such awards are given to fathers whose children showed special courage and heroism at the front. Son Anton, with the call sign Hedgehog left for a special operation in September 2023, and in May 2024 he died while performing a combat mission. Volunteers of the Victory, activists of the movement “Immortal Regiment of Russia”, searchers, cadets and representatives of public associations of the city gathered to honor the memory of the countryman. Before the service, Anton worked as a videographer in the media holding "Mig", in memory of his colleague, a memorial plaque was installed at the entrance. “For me, this medal is like news. Like news from my son. As they used to say in Afghanistan, creaks. They're talking ribbon now. And he sent me a message: "Hold on, folder." Everything is fine, said the father of the soldier Anton Usakovsky who died in the SVO.
