The police of Strezhevoy received a statement from a 49-year-old local resident that he had stolen money. The man saw on the Internet an ad for the sale of a snowmobile. He liked the offer and contacted the seller. They made a deal. “The attackers emailed the victim the contract of sale and payment instructions. The man printed out the contract, signed it and sent it back to the “seller”. According to the contract, the buyer had to transfer the prepayment according to the QR code provided by the attacker. Strezhevchan did everything, as it was written in the instructions, but the goods did not receive, and the “seller” stopped communicating, the press service said. The total amount of damage amounted to about 360,000 rubles. On this fact, a criminal case was opened under Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Fraud". The investigation is under way under the third part of this article.
