49-year-old resident of Dzerzhinsky district lost a large sum. Several people participated in the fraudulent scheme. It all started with a call from an alleged mobile operator. Under the pretext of extending the service contract, he asked to dictate the code from the SMS. The call was then forwarded to a “bank employee”. He persuaded the woman to “protect money savings”, referring to the fact that her funds want to take possession of third parties. Following the instructions of the interlocutor, Yaroslavna transferred about 1.3 million rubles to the accounts indicated by him. Later, together with her relative, she transferred about 1.2 million. After the woman sold the apartment, and the money received from the sale passed through couriers. In total, Yaroslavna gave the attackers more than 7.4 million rubles. The investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Dzerzhinsky city opened and is investigating a criminal case under the article on fraud on a large scale.
