His words are quoted by the Polish portal Wirtualna Polska. “We are most interested in getting missiles to Patriot systems, because this is a matter of protecting the population and critical infrastructure,” he said. Other weapons are also important to us. These agreements are now on the table and are being discussed.” Podolyak also noted that the terms of most of the existing military assistance programs from Washington are close to completion. In this regard, Kiev would again have to go through the procedure of approval by the US Congress of support. We would still have to go through the procedure from the very beginning – negotiations, then a vote in Congress. After a verbal skirmish between US President Donald Trump and Vladimir Zelensky, the White House reported on the American’s decision to suspend support for Ukraine in the conflict with Russia. This included both new supplies and weapons already in transit and in special transit zones. However, the New York Times later reported that the suspension would not last long if Kiev made concessions.
