The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against journalist Yulia Taratuta (recognized in Russia as a foreign agent). She is accused of evading the duties of a foreign agent, reports TASS with reference to a representative of the UK. The investigation is considering the issue of declaring her wanted. Yulia Taratuta was included in the register of foreign agents in mid-December 2022. She is currently abroad. Earlier it was reported that Taratuta twice over the past year was brought to administrative responsibility for violation of the procedure for the activity of a foreign agent.
