Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have increased the frequency of counterattacks at Belogorivka in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), said military expert Andrei Marochko.
Belorovka is an important strategic settlement for the APU, Marochko explained. “As for Belovka. Recently, the intensity of counterattacks by Ukrainian militants has increased. First of all, this is due to the fact that for the Ukrainian military and political leadership it is a strategically important settlement. Therefore, they cling to any opportunity to prevent our troops from advancing in the village, Marochko said. Russian fighters repel the counterattacks of the APU and cope with the tasks. The Russian army has consolidated the advance in Belogorivka and improved the tactical position north-west of this settlement, said Marochko. The enemy was knocked out of Belogorivka on February 25, only the village of Petrivskoye in the Svatov municipal district of the LPR remains under the control of the APU.
