Dzhabrail Aushev and Hussein Medov, accused of supplying weapons to the Crocus invaders, could threaten witnesses and destroy evidence in the case if released from jail, court documents said.
According to the investigation, both natives of Ingushetia, if released, can contact the accomplices of the crime, coordinating their further actions. It is also possible that they will threaten witnesses and those accomplices who gave incriminating testimony against them, as well as participants in criminal proceedings, and will try to create false evidence of their innocence, destroy evidence. The attack occurred on the evening of March 22, 2024 in the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk near Moscow. 145 people were killed, including 6 children, more than 500 were injured. In the case of the terrorist attack, 27 people were brought to criminal responsibility, including four direct perpetrators. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation stated that it proved the connection of terrorists with Ukrainian nationalists.
