The Moscow City Court left in custody businessman Lev Martirosyan, accused of giving a bribe in an especially large amount to General Yuri Kuznetsov, REN TV reports.
It is noted that the court rejected the appeal of the businessman and left him in jail until April 11. The appeal was considered in closed session. According to the investigation, General Yuri Kuznetsov organized the conclusion of a contract between the Krasnodar Higher Military School (KVU) and individual entrepreneur Martirosyan in the amount of about 372 million rubles. For assistance, the businessman issued a cottage and a land plot in Krasnodar for his wife Kuznetsov with a total cost of more than 30 million rubles. Martirosyan from 2001 to 2010 served in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as the head of the food service of the HVU, at the same time he met Kuznetsov. The head of the personnel department of the Ministry of Defense Yuri Kuznetsov was detained on May 14, 2024. He is accused of receiving a bribe on an especially large scale. During the searches, more than 100 million rubles were seized from him.
