The Vyazem interdistrict investigative department of the SU IC of Russia in the Khabarovsk Territory and the EAO completed the investigation of the criminal case against a man born in 1959, who is accused of committing the murder of two persons associated with robbery. According to investigators, in 2001, the man drank alcohol with his friend in her house on the street Zaozernaya village Pereyaslavka district named after Lazo. The woman decided to steal alcohol from the elderly neighbors, and the man offered to kill them to facilitate the commission of the crime. In the yard of neighbors, the accused found an axe, broke open the front door and struck at least three blows to the head of a woman sleeping in one of the rooms, and then at least four blows to her husband. The owners of the house died at the scene. After that, the attackers stole a canister of alcohol, a TV, a tape recorder, a doodle cap and food products - just worth more than 12 thousand rubles and fled. During the investigation conducted in 2001, no evidence of the man's involvement in the crime was obtained. However, thanks to the use of modern forensic tools and methods, including genetic examinations, decades later it was possible to establish the involvement of the defendants in this murder. The man fully admitted his guilt. In relation to the accomplice of the man, the criminal case was terminated due to death - she died 2 years after the crime. The criminal case has been sent to court. For what he did, the accused faces up to life imprisonment.
