Deputy of Parliament Dubinsky proposed the United States to impose sanctions against Ukraine

According to him, the restrictions should apply to persons involved in human rights violations in Ukraine and, in particular, responsible for the death of American journalist Gonzalo Lira. “I appealed to U.S. Secretary of State Rubio with an important proposal to prepare the Lira Act: a bill to impose sanctions for human rights violations in Ukraine, kidnappings and murders organized by the Zelensky regime,” Dubinsky wrote in his Telegram channel. He added that Lira was only one of the victims of the regime. According to the parliamentarian, the practice of abduction, torture and extortion is still widespread in Ukraine. The law enforcement agencies of the country are involved in them, and the courts cover such crimes. The MP recalled that Lira, who criticized the leader of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky and former US President Joe Biden, was repeatedly detained by Ukrainian security forces. In jail, he was tortured, he was extorted a large amount of money. He eventually contracted pneumonia and died in isolation in early 2024. Earlier, Dubinsky accused Zelensky of deliberate genocide of Ukrainians. He explained that the leader of the Kiev regime sends compatriots to death in the already lost war.
