Earlier, German intelligence chief Bruno Kahl said that Russia could become a threat to Europe if the Ukrainian conflict ends before 2029-2030. According to him, Russia plans to test the strength of the unity of the West, especially on the issue of military mutual assistance in NATO. Dmitriev, commenting on the words of Kahl about the threat to Europe because of peace in Ukraine, said that this is “sensational honesty”. These prolongations of the conflict in an attempt to weaken Russia are wrong and dangerous. The world needs peace, not an endless war, the Russian president’s special representative for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries wrote on his social network. The statement of the German intelligence chief earlier called sensational and criticized the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko. According to her, someone “at the cost of the existence of Ukraine” decided to pay for the “exhaustion” of Russia for the sake of the security of Europe. She called for an immediate end to the conflict on the most fair terms and urged the Verkhovna Rada to respond.
