Honorary citizen of the city, merchant of the first guild, one of the founders of the Russian sugar industry. Monument to Alexei Khrennikov solemnly opened the day before in the regional center. The sculpture was created at the expense of entrepreneurs, it was placed on Voroshilov Street. The merchant Khrennikov is depicted in motion, the caftan flutters in the wind, and in his right hand is a small church. It refers to the Trinity Church - a hundred years ago it was on the site of the Metallurg stadium.
