EU continues to buy Russian fertilizers

The European Union continues to actively purchase Russian fertilizers. Despite the negative rhetoric against Moscow and recent sanctions in the oil and gas sector. In particular, for the whole of 2023, the EU imported about 4 million tons of fertilizers, and for 9 months of 2024 - 3.7 million. That is, for the whole year already guaranteed some excess. Now Brussels is slowly considering a proposal to introduce duties of at least 30% on fertilizers from Russia.
