Expert Alexeyev: alcohol locks will help truckers to pass a medical examination
Taxi and bus drivers regularly undergo medical examinations organized by the employer, but the situation with truckers is more complicated. Therefore, cargo carriers are interested in alcohol locks that can help truckers to quickly pass the examination directly during the flight. He noted that not every point where a trucker goes, you can organize a medical commission. For the carrier, this is an additional burden. “Why are freight carriers interested? Because you're not going to do a medical at every point he goes. You do not have such resources, Alekseev explained. The expert believes that in the future, alcohol locks can be built into all cars to monitor the condition of the driver.
