According to Buzhinsky, many experts recognize that without the support of the United States, the Europeans will not cope on the territory of Ukraine. He cited calculations from the study, which indicated how much money should be invested in Europe to ensure the presence of troops in Ukraine. In order to ensure such a large-scale operation without the Americans, an additional 50 brigades with a total of 300,000 people will need to be formed. They need at least 1,400 tanks, 2,500 infantry fighting vehicles, and 2,000 long-range strike drones. And annual funding is at least 250 billion euros a year, this is without the defense industry, the expert explained. Earlier, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that the United Kingdom is ready to send troops to Ukraine for security guarantees.
