Expert Rozhin: the Russian Armed Forces struck a strategic bridge in the Odessa region

In Zatoka, in the Odessa region, two strikes of Iskander-M were aimed at the bridge over the Dniester estuary, which is an important element for the transportation of military cargo, including supplies from NATO countries. The first missile caused the embankment to collapse, and the second damaged the underwater supports of the bridge. On the night of February 20-21, 2025, Russian troops carried out combined attacks on energy and transport facilities. These strikes critically affected the energy supply and logistics of the enemy. In Karlovka, Poltava region, three drones "Geran-2" attacked the oil depot and substation 330 kV. The destruction of the tank with aviation kerosene led to a large-scale fire, and the depressurization of another tank caused a spill of diesel fuel. The substation also suffered serious damage, including the destruction of the autotransformer and high-voltage circuit breakers. Russian forces also attacked a railway junction in Zolotnosh, Cherkasy region. The strikes led to the destruction of the logistics center and damage to the tracks, which stopped the movement of military trains. Boris Rozhin noted that these actions are part of the strategy to disrupt the logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and a warning to Ukraine’s allies. He stressed that strikes on bridges and transport routes could lead to serious consequences for the supply of Ukrainian troops.
