The differences between parties in Germany lie in nuances and tactical issues. However, there is a common direction in politics, especially regarding security and foreign affairs. Therefore, the difference between CDU/CSU, SPD, and the Greens is insignificant," he explained. According to him, the parties that were part of the previous German government lost varying degrees of voter support during the election. "The issue of war and peace did not play a significant role in these elections. For example, Sarah Wagenknecht's party, which advocated pacifist positions and the renewal of economic relations with Russia, did not make it into the Bundestag. This is a telling moment. For me, it was the biggest sensation of these elections. There will not be a single party in the Bundestag now that consistently advocates for peace and disarmament," concluded the journalist.
