Five Russian women reached the final of the world championship in boxing among women
Five of the seven athletes of the Russian team reached the final of the World Boxing Championship, which takes place in the Serbian Niš. In boxing, reaching the semifinals already means winning a medal, since fights for third place are not held. Thus, two Russian athletes have bronze. The performance of the Russian women in Niš is much more successful than the last tournament, when they managed to win only 3 medals. The decisive battles will take place on March 17.
