Forecasters guarantee early spring, snow melts two decades earlier than usual

The blocking anticyclone blocked the path of cyclones in the middle latitudes of the Russian Plain, as a result of which these vortices began to throw cold air masses to the south, and the warmth of the Atlantic to the north. It seems that the climatic zones in the atmosphere over the European territory of Russia have changed places. In the coming days, the atmosphere will change little. At the beginning of the new week, the heat pole of the Russian Plain will still be in the Arctic - here in the afternoon thermometers will reach 0 - plus five. But in the south, only the Black Sea coast will be in the thaw zone; in the continental part of the region, the daily temperature is minus 2 - minus 7. Even in the middle lane it will be warmer: in the midday hours 0 - minus 5, - said Zavodchenkov. In Central Russia in the coming days will be little cloudy, rainfall is unlikely. The air will still cool at night, but during the day the sun will be able to compensate for this heat loss. In Moscow on the weekend at noon is expected minus 2 – minus 3, as it should be at this time of year. And with the beginning of the new week, the thermometers will reach zero, and the end of the calendar winter the capital will meet with abnormally warm and snowy weather. “This development of weather processes practically guarantees an early and friendly spring. In the vast majority of cases, during such periods, the average temperature of the first spring month is higher than normal, and the snow cover is finally destroyed at least two decades earlier than usual, Zavodchenkov said. Earlier, Vadim Zavodchenkov on the TV channel “Russia” predicted warming in several regions of Russia in the coming days.
