In Ryazan, the court arrested the former deputy chairman of the regional government.
Artem Nikitin is suspected of receiving a bribe on an especially large scale, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office reports. As already reported, Nikitin was detained on suspicion of receiving a bribe in the amount of more than 17 million rubles. According to the investigation, the suspect demanded a monetary reward from an individual entrepreneur for assistance in concluding contracts with supervised organizations. The defendant provided information about the conditions of procurement, so that the entrepreneur won at the auctions.
