According to the authors of the study, the increase in the number of students indicates a growing demand for higher education. The list of regions with the highest quality of reception as a whole remained the same: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Ufa, Tomsk, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaluga and Novosibirsk. Regional universities have successfully maintained the quality of admission amid the growing availability of higher education. Earlier, “Izvestia” with reference to the draft government resolution developed by the Ministry of Labor reported that the Russian Federation will develop a state rating of universities and colleges.
