According to experts, a massive glacier, whose height can reach several kilometers, can spread to the Middle strip of Russia. Scientists made this conclusion by studying past periods of global cooling and linking them to changes in the tilt of the Earth's axis. However, they note that natural climate cycles have already been disrupted by intense carbon dioxide emissions, which could delay the expected cooling. Aidan Starr, a graduate student at Cardiff University, said scientists have studied the migratory pathways of Antarctic icebergs over the past 1.5 million years. In their opinion, these processes can play a key role in the launch of the next large-scale glaciation.
