The restoration of the historical complex of Eban continues in the Republic of Ingushetia. The architectural ensemble, consisting of one defensive tower and twelve residential towers, was destroyed in the 19th century. The buildings are located on sheer cliffs, which complicates the restoration process. All materials have to be delivered manually. The specialists' task is to fill in the losses in the stone masonry of the walls, as well as to reinstall the wooden floors. Not only the towers, but also the wells, crypts, and sanctuaries are subject to restoration. "We completed the most basic, most difficult, and most inaccessible towers in 2024. Restored eight residential towers. We have one more defensive tower to be in the center of the complex, and two residential towers remaining. And we will also restore the destroyed sheer wall at the bottom," said Movli Kharsiev, a representative of the restoration company.
