The Special Theatre Award will be awarded on June 26, 2025
The Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation has established a new special prize "Golden Mask" - "Maestro". For the first time it will be presented on June 26, 2025 in Kazan at the solemn ceremony of summing up the theatrical season 2023-2024. A distinctive feature of the new award will be the order of its award: the right to nominate candidates and make the final decision on the winners belongs to the co-chairman of the STD of the Russian Federation, conductor Valery Gergiev. The Golden Mask National Theatre Award was established in 1993 and annually celebrates outstanding performances of Russian theaters in all genres of stage art.
