Today, February 28, during the operational-search activities, Ugro officers noticed on Kirov Avenue a suspect in a crime of a citizen. “Police officers approached the suspect and asked for documents. The citizen rudely refused and hit the chest with a metal rod of one of the employees. Another attacker inflicted a wound with a knife, the report said. The offender was arrested and taken to the police. Against 48-year-old local resident opened a criminal case on the use of violence against the authorities. After a medical examination, the man will be sent for questioning to the investigator. The injured policemen were given medical care, their lives are out of danger.
