According to the results of the competitive selections, the Komi Sports Ministry determined two winners. In the MO MR "Ust-Vymsky" will be built a modular sports hall. A flat sports ground will appear in the MO "Vorkuta". In addition, as part of the implementation of the state program of the Republic of Komi "Development of Physical Culture and Sports", municipalities in the Republic of Komi are provided with a subsidy from the republican budget for the creation of three GTO sites. The Ministry of Sport of the region considered five applications from municipalities. According to the results of the competitive selection, the winners were recognized - Ukhta, Syktyvkar and Syktyvdinsky district. New GTO sites will appear this year. “The Ministry has now prepared draft regulations for the distribution of subsidies among municipalities. It should be noted that the creation of new venues will contribute to the development of sports infrastructure in the region, which, in turn, will give new opportunities for involving more Komi residents in physical education and sports, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Komi Republic stressed. Recall that only during the period of the implementation of the federal project “Sport – the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”, initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, from 2019 to 2024, financing in the amount of 756.3 million rubles was allocated for the development of the sports infrastructure of the Republic of Komi.
